All of our pieces are top coated with several coats of the most durable polyurethane on the market, so caring for them is very simple...in fact there are as many "don'ts" as "dos".
Most standard methods of cleaning and polishing antiques are not necessary on modern finishes....and in fact are detrimental to them. Oil based products such as "Furniture Soaps" should not be used on our pieces.
A light dusting with a soft cloth is all that is required (T-shirt material works well). You may also use any of the readily available spray polishes, but spray the cloth and then wipe, don't spray the furniture surface.
Don't use heavy paste wax as this will not enhance the finish. It will, however, turn the piece into a giant dust magnet.
Our pieces will resist alcohol and water circles for a few minutes, but do try to wipe up spills promptly and as your mother always told you: Use coasters.
Slight darkening of wood pieces over time is natural and no cause for concern. This is especially true of our cherry pieces, where this effect is not only normal but generally desirable.
